Five Arrows Hotel

Five Arrows Hotel

The Five Arrows Hotel wanted better flow rates for the showers, increased capacity and better efficiency.

The Property:

The Five Arrows Hotel, Waddesdon, Buckinghamshire. The Five Arrows is a Grade II listed building at the gates of Waddesdon Manor built on the site of an old coaching inn. Built in 1887 as part of Waddesdon Estate by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild it was originally used to accommodate the architects, craftsmen and artisans working on the Manor itself. The hotel has 16 bedrooms of character and charm, a Restaurant with 2 AA rossettes and an extensive wine list, to make guests welcome and comfortable.

The Brief:

The Five Arrows Hotel wanted better flow rates for the showers, increased capacity and better efficiency. Fairford Heating were called in to complete a through audit of the current hot water system and make recommendations to update. The hotel also wanted to update the bathrooms and called upon Fairford Heating to make recommendations for bathroom sanitaryware.

The Solution:

Fairford recommended and installed a high capacity condensing boiler solution to produce greater hot water capacity much more efficiently. They installed larger capacity pressurised hot water storage tanks to ensure the showers were faster flowing and never run cold. In addition Fairford are carrying out a phased refurbishment of the guest bathrooms using high quality contemporary sanitaryware.

We have been very impressed with Fairford Heating right from the start of the project. They have been confidence inspiring and professional, recommending intelligent, cost effective solutions. The hotel was open during the upgrades so it was important that the work was carried our efficiently and with minimal mess and disruption, the Fairford team did not disappoint, they were clean and tidy and carried out work to a very high standard.
